Every user in the TruRisk Risk Engineer portal is assigned a role that determines what they can access and do. Roles are assigned when a user is created and can be updated at any time by an Admin.

Roles

There are two roles in the Risk Engineer portal: Risk Engineer — The standard role for engineers who conduct surveys and manage client records. Risk Engineers can:
  • Create and manage client and site records
  • Create and manage surveys
  • Raise and manage recommendations
  • Schedule activities
  • View reports and risk classifications
Risk Engineer Admin — An elevated role that includes all Risk Engineer permissions, plus:
  • Add and manage users
  • Create and manage Teams
  • Manage account-level settings
Only users with the Risk Engineer Admin role can add new users and manage roles. If you need your role changed, contact your organisation’s Admin.

How roles appear

A user’s role is visible in the Users list under the Role column, and on the individual user record under User Permissions. Users can hold one role at a time. Role changes take effect immediately.
