# The survey record

> An overview of the survey record in TruRisk, including tabs and survey details.

The survey record is where engineers capture and manage all findings for a specific site visit — documents, recommendations, COPE data, loss estimates, and the audit trail. You land here after creating a survey or clicking one from the site's Surveys tab.

## Header

The top of the record shows the survey name and the site and client it belongs to ("for \[Site] of \[Client]"). Two actions are always available:

* **Edit Survey** — update survey details such as status, visit date, type, or assigned engineer
* **`···`** menu — additional options including deleting the survey
